Registration Listing

Spring - 2025

Raccoon Valley Little League offers baseball to boys and girls ages 4 to 16. We do not offer softball, so all teams will follow Little League Rules for baseball.

For detailed information on the divisions we offer, please visit our Little League Rules page.

If you have any questions regarding registration, please visit our FAQ page.

Games run from April to June, throughout these months, there are many things that need to be done administratively as well as around the complex. The Little League is 100% run by volunteers, and we desperately need more volunteer help. We require everyone who registers to volunteer a total of two hours per season. Also, each team will be supplying the concession stand with workers a few times per season. There are several volunteer activities needed including: helping with field maintenance, coaching, and serving on the board, concession stand griller. Thank you in advance for your help in ensuring that kids have a low cost opportunity to play baseball in our community. RVLL is dedicated to our community and strives to provide everyone with the best experience at the lowest possible cost.

**If you find that you prefer not to volunteer for two hours, an optional $50 fee can be charged to your account. However, this will not exclude you from mandatory concession stand duties when needed.**

About our divisions

Raccoon Valley Little League provides baseball for boys and girls from ages 4-16. We offer the following divisions:

T-ball - Ages 4-5 years old
Coach pitch - Ages 5-6 years old - coach will toss a ball to the players for the first time and switch to a tee if they are unable to get a hit from the coaches pitch
Kid/Coach pitch - Ages 7-8 years old - this will be the first time kids pitch and catch!
AA - Ages 9-10 years old - full on baseball with umpires, kids pitch and catch with no physical help from the coaches. Player evaluations are required prior to being placed on a team
Intermediate - Ages 11-13 years old - a three year competitive yet fun program, a time to hone your skills. Player evaluations are required prior to being placed on a team
Jr/Sr - Ages 14-16 years old - for those kids who still want to play. We've combine the two divisions and may play with Beaverdale Little League and Ft. Des Moines Little League.

All of our divisions are baseball. Unfortunately there is no softball offered at RVLL. We encourage girls to play; but please be aware that we don't have that many and your child may be the only girl on the team.

We do not guarantee any team or coach requests. It really depends on the amount of coach volunteers we receive. All teams are coached by parent volunteers. If we cannot get enough coaches, teams will be larger.

It is the coach's responsibility to reach out and communicate with the teams. Communications go out to the coaches by the league reps and RVLL President. You can access your team by logging in to our website and going to Team Central/Team Directory. For AA and INTERMEDIATE, we require player evaluations and team/coach requests are even less likely.

If you are able to be a coach, assistant coach, a team parent or volunteer in any capacity to help your team be successful, you will complete our 2-step volunteer application. Once you complete the application, you will be invited via email to complete a form for a criminal background check.
